Lessons from the Geese ~

As each bird flaps its wings, it creates an uplift for the bird following.
By flying in a “V” formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.

Lesson: People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust  of one another.

Whenever a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone, and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front.

Lesson: If we have as much sense as a goose, we will stay in formation with those who are headed where we want to go, and  we’ll be willing to accept their help as well as give ours to others.

Full Moon Energy ~

Full Sturgeon Moon *Tonight*

A full Moon opens our hearts. Abundance overcomes feelings of lack and peaceful belonging nudges worry out of the corners of our spines.

Find time to step outside and feel the Moon shine! Tonight you will

see Her many faces…from the rising copper breath-taker to the celestial wise sky-pearl.

The energy of this full Moon carries the gifts you prayed for at the dark moon, but the cycle will not complete. The tension of this month’s Blue Moon leaves the doorway of your hopes open this August. You are expanding your ability to receive. Keep council with your Inner Child and use Play a bit more than Planning as your world shifts.

The fishing tribes are given credit for the naming of this Moon, since sturgeon, a large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water, were most readily caught during this month. A few tribes knew it as the Full Red Moon because, as the Moon rises, it appears reddish through any sultry haze. It was also called the Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon.

Vision Challenge ~

We are each letting off light and sound from our beings and walking through each others energy fields. On a subtle level you are aware of this. We are aware of the Divinity in all of us.

When I take the time to do this at the grocery store or walking through our neighborhood….. I notice that I calm down and my hearing becomes more acute. The color of people’s eyes and hair appear richer. My inner eye is flooded with beauty and and my heart feels full of empathy.

When you envision the color and shapes that surround others, what do you notice in your own body?
